Theater With Purpose
Founded in 2009, Get Your Act Together, LLC has filled the gap in local theater opportunities for teen and young adults with productions ranging from The Hobbit to Anne of Green Gables, The Baker Street Irregulars to It’s a Wonderful Life. For us, inspiration starts with high quality, edifying scripts and the key question: what can we do to make this show even better than the last?
We believe every person is stamped with God’s image and made to work and play in the world He has made. Tolkien once wrote that the very essence of humanity is being sub-creators. We may not be able to create ex nihilo, but we can craft authentic, meaningful stories that glorify God and remind us what is beautiful and worth thinking about. As we step into imagined worlds, we get to see our lives and problems through the lens of Biblical themes in new ways.
We’ve learned teamwork and perseverance through our projects. Our imaginations have expanded, our confidence has grown, and our friendships have solidified through rehearsals and performances, gaffes and laughs. It is worth every messy moment to see students bond over the common goal of presenting stories on stage for God’s glory.

Our Commitment to You
We follow the Evangelical Free Church of America's statement of faith: https://www.efca.org/sof/
We are a Christ-centered organization that coaches homeschool students in theatrical performance. Using theater's unique, creative platform, we make it our goal to train youth in artistic skills and character development for God's glory. We seek to tell relevant and thought provoking stories that give opportunity to the actors and audience members alike to seek a new or deepened relationship with God.
We are dedicated to providing students with...
1. A Christian Environment.
Our staff seeks to model Christ-like behavior to provide an excellent example for students to emulate with each other in rehearsals and in their personal lives.
2. Coaching.
Through group direction, individual coaching, and working alongside experienced actors, students will be equipped and encouraged to strive for excellence in acting and teamwork.
3. Family Friendly Content.
We only produce shows that have actions, words, and messages that are appropriate for students to act and for your family to watch. Students will work with stories that explore facets of worldview and the human condition to develop understanding and grace for others without compromising their standards on stage.
4. Appreciation for Theater.
Students will grow in confidence, communication, and analytical skills. Our goal is to give students a comprehensive appreciation for theater.
